Great...Even With The Narrator, September 30, 2012

I have followed this story ever since EL James was writing it online. I would wait anxiously every week for her to update. I also read the books as soon as they were available because I wanted to support the author and loved the stories. I was very excited to see this book available on Audible especially after seeing its humble beginnings as a twilight fanfiction story. I waited to get the audio version however, due to terrible reviews about the narrator. I also felt the same way after listening to the sample available. Now though, I realize she did an okay job. Yes, she is young but so is the character. She does sound very similar to the 22 year old girls I know. This is a fascinating story of overcoming mental trials through physical escape. I can understand why Mr. Gray has issues and can even understand how he chooses to overcome them. The rights to this book have been purchased by "Universal" and I look forward to see how they change this book to work on the big screen. Listen to the words of the story and you'll have no choice but to be carried away.
