Water-based and without glycerin, it will not promote or feed a yeast infection. This is an excellent choice for women who are experiencing vaginal dryness due to breastfeeding or menopause, as it moisturizes the tissues as well as lubricates them. Some people can taste a faint bitter taste others cannot, you decide.

Tried several other water based lubes and while they were slippery they all ultimately turned somewhat tacky. Silk provided a velvety soft slippery feel and left your hands and skin very soft after using it. As for the bitter aftertaste that some people have written about I didn't find it bitter - It provided a long lasting slippery feel that my wife loved! I used it on a penis sleeve and even though the sleeve was 2" in diameter and met with resistance at the entrance to her vagina, with just a steady pressure it slipped right in leaving her moaning with pleasure from her " new " lover.

Liquid Silk is definitely our favorite water based lubricant. It is super slippery, slick, and pretty damn long lasting for a water based lube without glycerine. I love that it is paraben and glycerine free. Especially for those with sensitive pussies who can be irritated by glycerine and such. It has a thinnish, jizz like consistency that spreads onto toys and bodies easily. Liquid Silk is perfect for both anal and vaginal sex, plus fingers and toys! It's compatible with all sex toy materials including metal, glass, rubber, silicone, PVC, and even wood. It does have to be reapplied more often than an oil or silicone based lubricant, but nearly all H20 based formulas work like that. It has no odor, but does have a light bitter taste that isn't very pleasant. This just means I tend to avoid it for lubey blow jobs, no biggie. It isn't ideal for jerk-off sessions (with a cock anyway) since it tends to dry up kind of quick for this. Overall though it is a seriously awesome lube. It's a favorite of ours and perfect to use with silicone toys!

Ive been looking for a really good personal lubricant for months now. I have tried the usual suspects (A&Es products, KYs various lubes, Astroglide, etc.) and was not impressed. I am so glad I tried Liquid Silk! It stays wet for a long time without the need for several re-applications. I like that its not sticky, too. I fly solo so to speak, and I have found a lube for life! :o)

As a menopausal women, making love when my vaginal area was dry proved to be unpleasant. I tried all the KY products, Vagisils personal lubricant, and my Dr. thought maybe sildenafil (Female Viagra)would help. All of these lubes and creams met with limited success. Not to sound like an Info-mercial, but when I ordered the Liquid Silk Personal Lubricant, I have to say I was very impressed. It dispensed easily and cleanly from the pump....no caps to slip from your fingers or drop on the floor. It stays moist and slippery, even after my husband petted my pussy for awhile, and then had intercourse. What really impressed me, however, was the fact that I was STILL slippery and wet enough to have an orgasm...something that had been sort of hit or miss since Ive experienced peri-menopause, and now menopause. I hope this review is of help to other women who find reaching orgasm difficult. Liquid Silk will certainly be the only personal lubricant my husband and I will use from now on!
